Meet Our Periodontists!

Tina Sun, DDS, Periodontist
Dr. Tina Sun completed her DDS degree as well as her Periodontal and Implant Surgical training at the University of Southern California School of Dentistry, where she currently serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor. She is also presently a member of the California Society of Periodontists and American Academy of Periodontology.
As a Periodontist, Dr. Sun educates her patients on the importance of periodontal health, as periodontics is the key and foundation to all other aspects of dentistry. Without healthy gums, other fields of dentistry would be impossible. Dr. Sun appreciates and understands that periodontal surgery requires a fine combination of engineering skills, perceptions of beauty, and problem solving abilities. With great passion, Dr. Sun carefully plans and carries out the treatment course for each of her patients with the goal of creating beautiful and healthy gums.
Desire, dedication and devotion are her ideals. She has the desire to serve; she will prove her dedication; and she promises to devote herself to learning and serving patients by helping them achieve maximum oral health and beautiful gums.

Glenn Hsuan-Chen Chang, PhD, D.D.S., Periodontist
Dr. Glenn Chang graduated from the University of Southern California Dental School after finishing his PhD program at the University of Texas at Austin. He then pursued a graduate certificate in Advanced Periodontology at USC and currrently serves as a clinical instructor in the Advanced Periodontics Department at USC.
Dr. Chang's doctoral research was focused on Medical Biomaterials, specifically in artificial bone graft for medical and dental use. Dr. Chang had published several papers in both biomaterials and clinical dentistry. He is currently still engaged on clinical research in both academic and private office settings. Dr. Chang dedicates his enthusiasm in both patient care and research to advance the evolving implant technology. Dr. Chang believes that by doing research in improving implant designs, surgical techniques, and biomaterials, as well as participating in direct patient care, he will be able to contribute his best to the the improvement of modern implant dentistry.
